Detroit: Farm in the City?

Detroit has lost half its population since 1950, leaving behind nearly 40 square miles of vacant land. A financial entrepreneur from Detroit named John Hantz has offered to buy up about 70 acres. He wants to build a commercial farm inside the city -- it would be the largest urban farm in the world. Hantz Farms' president, Michael Score, explains the vision to scale up urban agriculture in Detroit.
