The Embassy of Finland is the first green embassy in the United States. It has received the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Rachel Louis Snyder takes a tour of the embassy and learns how the building has been designed and adapted to reflect both Finnish aesthetics and environmental priorities.
